Expert Witness Testimony for Civil or Criminal Matters

The Haven Wellness Center provides legal consultation, fact witness testimony, expert witness testimony and biopsychosocial reports.

Our hourly costs include all SCHEDULED phone calls, review of evidence, creation of reports, meetings with attorneys, their clients and other collateral calls or meetings. This will also include any travel or preparation time.

Kelly Slaven: $350
Jessica Brazeal: $350
Jordan Gates: $200
Susan McKelvy: $200

To schedule any of The Haven Wellness Center therapists to act as a fact or expert witness, you must schedule at least a half day of time. Our rates are as followed for SCHEDULED testimony regardless of whether or not the testimony takes place:

Half Day: $1,500
Full Day: $3,000

Our cancellation policy is that in order to not be charged for time scheduled, all cancellations must take place outside of a 72 business hour window (this does not include weekends or holidays).

Client Evaluation & Biopsychosocial Reports

  • Kelly & Jessica are available to meet with clients that are involved in the criminal justice system as a result of domestic violence or other trauma related issues in order to conduct an interview and provide a written evaluation to the attorney to assist in the case.

  • Rate: $350 per hour

Teaching or Presentations

  • Kelly & Jessica often teach on subjects including the spectrum of violence, the impact of trauma, child abuse dynamics, teen dating violence and the dynamics of domestic violence.

  • Rates available upon request.

Professional or Student Consultations

  • Kelly & Jessica are available to schedule time for professional or student consultations regarding the profession, their experience, and to provide professional support.

  • Rates available upon request.
